Avon Rep or Sales Leader?

If you would like to earn more money in your free time to help pay the bills or afford the little luxuries in life, or if you want to build a thriving business based at home, then you can achieve whatever you want through Avon.

Avon Sales Rep

If you want to become an Avon rep you can fit it around your current lifestyle as you are not a direct employee of Avon Cosmetics. Instead, you are self-employed and can earn extra income simply by introducing your family, friends and neighbours to the Avon catalogue or by handing out some catalogues in work.

There is no charge to start selling Avon, apart from an administration fee of £15. This is paid in two installments of £7.50 added to your first two orders. You also receive free catalogues for the first two campaigns which equates to six weeks worth of free sales material. After this period, you will need to buy more catalogues yourself but they can cost from as little as 9p depending on the number you order.

You get paid every three weeks when you file new orders to Avon. You will receive all the goods for these orders the following week and then deliver them to your customers. You deduct your share of the money when your customers pay you and submit the rest to Avon.

Avon Sales Leader

This is the step up from being a sales representative and part of your job is to recruit new Avon reps. You will talk to people who are interested in making extra money with Avon and explain to them what is involved, such as delivering catalogues and placing orders.

While there is extra work involved in being a sales leader, there are extra financial rewards associated with it. Whereas you will earn commissions from your own catalogue sales, you will also earn commission on sales which are made by the reps in your team. The more Avon reps you recruit, the higher your commission percentage is in return.
